Sorry, but I am going to go off topic for one post because of a real Christmas Miracle

On August 24th 2004, Janneke Schoonhoven, the mother of Sara and Ammar (then approx. 9 and 11) reported that he children were kidnapped by their birth father during the vacation they spent with him in his native country of Syria.

While they were with him, the father took the passports of the children and decided against the wishes of his children, that they from that point onwards would stay and live with him in Syria. The children were being held against their wishes in Syria and there was nothing the mother (who had full custody of the children) could do. Syrian law only recognizes the right of the father in custody issues.

Janneke fortunatly was able to occasionally be in contact with her children, but was not allowed to take them home with her.

On July 6th 2006, the children escaped the watchful eye of their father and with a taxi they fled to the dutch embassy in Damascus.

Since that date they have been staying in the embassy building (facilities were made for them there, including a dutch teacher to give them daily private lessons) because they could not leave there out of fear of being taken back to their father. Their father has accused the dutch government and the dutch embassy personnel of kidnapping his children. He even said his children did not want to leave him or Syria (instead of returning home to their classmates and their mother).

But there was no doubt the children wanted to get the hell out of Syria and away from their father. Sara even wrote to the Queen and the prime minister saying how badly she wanted to go home (and her brother too) and that they would rather stay alone at the Embassy for ever rather than go back to her father.

For the past five and a half months the dutch government and the Syrian government have been negotiating the release of the children. Special envoys have been sent, negotiation teams have been deployed, but the Syrians (government) refused as long as the father did not agree to let the children leave.

A few weeks back the Minister of Foreign Affairs himself flew to Syria to negotiate for the release of Sara and Ammar. He said he hoped that they would return home to the Netherlands this year.


Christmas Miracle

When I turned on the TV this morning, the first item on the news was that Sara and Ammar's father has finally agreed to let the children leave. The children have already been loaded upon an airplane home for the Netherlands and in about 1.5 hours from now (15.00 hours dutch time) they will land on Schiphol Airport and they will be spending Christmas with their mother (and their dutch family).

Everybody in the Netherlands is very happy to finally have them home.

this year it will most likely be too late for a Christmas Miracle for Beth, Jug, Robin and Dave (and the rest of their families) so let us wish (and for those of religious persuasion pray) that this is the last Christmas that they will be wondering what happened to Natalee and that in 12 months time they will have the answers they so richly deserve to know.


Last but not least

I would like to Wish all the readers of this blog and the readers/posters on Blogs For Natalee a very Merry Christmas and a year in which all your wishes may come true.

I also want to extend a special thank you to Debbie and her trusted and hard working band of mods who keep Blogs for Natalee functioning.

But now back to what I wanted to say to begin with, the actual truth about judges commissioners like Bob Wit and house searches.

The Lawbook

To start here is the dutch article of law about the judge commissioner:

Art. 110. Wetboek van strafrecht

1. De rechter-commissaris kan, op vordering van de officier van justitie en in het gerechtelijk vooronderzoek tevens ambtshalve, ter inbeslagneming elke plaats doorzoeken. Hij kan zich daarbij doen vergezellen van bepaalde door hem aangewezen personen. De vordering vermeldt het strafbare feit en indien bekend de naam of anders een zo nauwkeurig mogelijke omschrijving van de verdachte, alsmede de feiten of omstandigheden waaruit blijkt dat de wettelijke voorwaarden voor uitoefening van de bevoegdheid zijn vervuld.
2. Het doorzoeken van plaatsen overeenkomstig het bepaalde in het eerste lid geschiedt onder leiding van de rechter-commissaris in tegenwoordigheid van de officier van justitie of, in geval van diens verhindering, van een hulpofficier van justitie.

1. The examining judge can, on the request of the district attorney and in the course of a judicial pre-inquest in his function as judge, search any place in order to confiscation. He can choose to be accompanied by specific people he chooses. The request mentions the criminal offense/act and if known the name or an as accurate as possible description of the suspect, as well as the facts or circumstances which show that the legal requirements for the judge to exercise this power have been met.
2. The searching of places, as mentioned in the first section of this article happens under the leadership of the examining judge, in the presence of the district attorney, or when the DA is unable to attend, an assistant district attorney.

judge-commissioner (in criminal cases) is a judge that has been appointed by the president of the court to, during the duration of the police-investigation that is being performed by the police, take decisions that the district attorney is not competent to make. Decisions like tapping phone-lines, incarcerating suspects, and searching houses. For this last function, it is in principle mandatory* that the judge commissioner together with his court clerk, is present at the scene of the house search, to be in factuality the person in charge of the search.
The judge commissioner has to decide at the scene of the search, what can and cannot be impounded/seized from the property, and the judge commissioner is authorized to take measures to keep the peace at the scene of the search.

* in principle means here, that are ways in which the police can search a house without the judge commissioner being present but those are "danger for life and safety" and drugs/weapon-offenses are suspected, and have the stipulation that the suspect must be at home when they want to get into the house. Entering a house/premises when the occupant is out, can only be done with the judge commissioner present.

This was the case for example in a appeals case in front of the dutch supreme court where the owner of a drug-plantation was petitioning the court to throw out the evidence found at his home by the police because of an illegal search and seizure of said drugs-plantation.

The events happened as follows (first dutch, then the English translation):

- dat klachten over een sterke weedlucht en de constatering daarvan aanleiding waren een machtiging ter opsporing van strafbare feiten zonder toestemming van de bewoner van de woning aan [a-straat 1] te [plaats A] af te geven.
- dat -na de onrechtmatige binnentreding- door de politie op de vloer van die woning weed werd aangetroffen en softdrugsgerelateerde goederen.
dat vervolgens verder zoeken wordt gestaakt, de rechter-commissaris wordt ingelicht en op rechtmatige wijze huiszoeking wordt verricht,

- the complaints of a strong odor of weed, which the two officers indeed ascertained for themselves were grounds to get/and receive a warrant to find criminal offenses without needing the permission of the owner.
- that -after the illegal entrance into the house- the police found weed and soft-drugs related paraphernalia on the floor of the house and immediately halted their search, the judge commissioner got informed and a legal search of the house was performed

A few lines below the court writes that the original court that handled the case did not find the search performed by the judge commissioner illegal (while it did find the original police-search to be illegal) and that the evidence gathered by the judge commissioner could be used at trial.

This is what the dutch supreme court had to say about that:

3.5.2. Het middel faalt derhalve voorzover het er over klaagt dat het aantreffen van de verdovende middelen nadat de doorzoeking onder leiding van de Rechter-Commissaris een aanvang had genomen, niet tot het bewijs had mogen worden gebezigd.

3.5.2. The petition fails with regard to the complaint, that the narcotics that were found after the judge commissioner had started a search under his direction/leadership, should be excluded as evidence from the court case.

The Judge Commissioner HAS to be present because he and he alone can decide what gets seized and what may stay. You cannot do that from an island away, to decide what to seize and what to search it is imperative and legally obligatory to have the examining judge present at the scene.

It has been a while since I last updated my blog

A lot has happened in that 1.5 months. Some good things like the three main suspects remaining suspects after a judge has decided this in a court-case started by the three suspects. Another good thing has been the attention in the Netherlands for Natalee's case due to an episode of Peter R. de Vries's show about Natalee's disappearance.

Good is also the fact that the dutch police continue to work on the case. Hopefully it will yield the results we all so desperately crave, especially Natalee's parents who really deserve to know the truth about what happened to Natalee and where she is.

But also some not so good things. Our "favorite" hate-monger is back to his old tricks (scaring away the support of all good willing dutch and aruban men, women and children and distorting reality) with his typical brand of hatred, lies and insults against the Dutch, Aruba and of course in the process of his hateful activities, disgracing Natalee's memory who was anything but hateful, deceitful and insulting (three character trades that fit Frankie/Deetch though to a T.


Arubanboycott.blogspot has also been doing it's usual excellent job of telling lies, distorting the truth and spreading their portion of hatred.

1. Ben Vocking - An evil little man

Insightful as always Michelle comes to the rescue of Eduardo Mathew (big mistake number 1), yes Michelle, Eduardo Mathew, not Alexander (mistake number 2).

It seems she learned little from her association with Joe M. (currently in big trouble with the feds).

Fact 1: Eduardo Mathew is a violent person
Fact 2: Eduardo Mathew is a wife-beater and has violent tendencies
Fact 3: Being a trained Kick-box instructor he knows how to exact damage on others
Fact 4: Eduardo Mathew is not a political prisoner/victim. He is the perpetrator
Fact 5: He was jailed for a relatively short stint in jail for violent offenses of a lesser nature
Fact 6: While in jail, Eduardo Mathew violently attacked Ben Vocking/King. Breaking his skull, cheekbone, eye-socket and sending him in critical condition to the hospital.
Fact 7: For this heinous attack against a defenseless Ben Vocking, Mathew got imprisoned for inflicting serious bodily harm
Fact 8: While in jail he remained a threat to inmates and guards alike. Attacking them to inflict further injuries on yet more innocent bystanders.
Fact 9: While in jail he was put in solitary for too long, something the EU does not condone. He was also kept in a cell that did not come up to minimal standards. For those 2 things the Netherlands was ordered to pay 13,000 euro's to Mathew (10,000 for his "suffering" and 3,000 for legal costs).

All the rest of mr. Mathew's story are mostly lies. People like Eduardo Mathew are not worthy of any support. Natalee's case is not advanced by Arubanboycott.blogspot standing up for wife-beating criminals who prey on defenseless human beings like Mr. Mathew is.


2. Judge Jacob Wit

In this little story that Michelle posted on her website, the writer asks him/herself a few questions. A few questions and assertions are posted that show complete ignorance of dutch law (something the writer could have avoided if he/she would read that excellent forum of Blogs For Natalee) and of course repeating lies and rumors for which no evidence exists.

Here is the most important question the writer asks him/herself (quote from the above article):

Why did Justice Wit wait for the prosecutor at the van der Sloot home to limit her search areas? Why didn’t he simply make that ruling from the bench in the courtroom? Why did he feel the need to do that from the van der Sloot home?

Why indeed is not that difficult an answer to give. BECAUSE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AT THE SCENE OF THE SEARCH. Bob Wit (Jacob Wit) was the "rechter commissaris" in this case (examining judge/magistrate). In the dutch legal system, the DA requests the tools (tools that violate civil rights of suspects like house-searches, taps, impounding items) that she feels
are vital to cracking/solving the case and bringing the guilty to trial. To safeguard the rights of all citizens in the Netherlands, the DA has to convince the examining judge to allow her to use those tools.

Like with the house search of the van der Sloot residence, Karin Janssen had to ask the court if she was allowed to search the residence in Oranjestad. The judge then has to agree or disagree with the permission to search, in this case he agreed to the search.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!! that is not the end of the duties of the examining judge. He has to be present at the house-search to lead that search. He does this in the company of the court-clerk whose duty it is to document the house-search. One of the things the judge has to decide is what is going to be searched and what is allowed to be seized from the property.

So in fact, Judge Bob Wit is being assaulted and insulted/smeared with Michelle's lies for DOING HIS JOB!!.

Because there is no evidence that Bob Wit (who is an Curaçao resident) has or ever was the friend of Paul van der Sloot (in fact, the chief justice of the Aruban/Antilles court even said at the beginning of this case that he was appointing judges who had no conflict of interest in this case).

Bob Wit did not violate code of Ethics in this case. On the contrary, his record speaks of a man who is very ethical and trusted in the Kingdom. His functions are/used to be:

- President of the Military Court of the Nether­lands Antilles (1992-present)
- Chairman of the Judicial Working Groups on (a) Videoconfe­ren­cing in Court and (b) Code of Ethics for the Judiciary (2003-present)
- Chairman of the Committee of Supervision of the Securi­ty Servi­ce of Aruba (2004-present)
- Vice-President of the National Committee On Revi­sing the Crimi­nal Code of the Netherlands Antilles (2002-present)
- Chairman of the Board of Discipline for Medical Doctors (1992-1995)

No judge gets to such a position if he does not have impeccable morals and excellent legal qualities, and there is ample evidence so suggest/prove that Bob Wit indeed is such a high standing moral human being.

This above mentioned duty of the Bob Wit as examining judge, also means the rest of the accusations in the story Michelle posted are not worth the pixels they are written in.

Friday 27th October update about the case and a tribute video for Natalee

Well, another week has almost passed since Natalee's birthday and nothing much has developed with regard to actual news about the case itself but there have been a few positive things happening.

First of all the news story in Dario that the dutch cold case squad is already on the case. From what I understood from the article the dutch have gone to Aruba, have reviewed case files (probably brought copies back to the Netherlands) and they are planning their next move in the case. Hopefully that will get some results but we still have to wait and see how good the Aruban actually did their job and we (nor the dutch police) know if anything has been held back by the Arubans.

Secondly, Peter R. de Vries, the dutch crime reporter has publicly (on his website) announced that he, his team and his show are actively investigating the Holloway case. They are asking for information from people who might have some, people can do this and be sure their identity is protected by the show because that is how mr. de Vries works. It will however be several months I think before the show will air or that we will get some actual news from his show.


Almost time to leave and almost time to come

the aruban legal landscape will radically change in the next few months. Head district attorney Karin Janssen will almost certainly leave the island because in 1 to 3 months she will have done her "tour of duty" on Aruba. Karin Janssen will have finished her three years of being "on loan" to the Aruban Public Prosecutors office in the not too distant future. This will mean that Natalee's case will be handled by another DA who hopefully is a bit more accomodating to the Beth and Dave with regard to information and let's be honest, a bit more courteous to the family.

The other big change is the new dutch police chief who will probably start working earlier than planned (planning was January 2007 but he will most likely start work next month). Hopefully he will revitalize the Aruban police force, weed out the bad apples and start afresh. This will than with any luck mean more co-operative cops on the Holloway case who might actually achieve something (because the cops on the case so far have not produced any usuable results).


Greta van Susteren on Beth's return from the Netherlands interview

I just today saw on youtube the interview that Beth did with Greta upon returning from the Netherlands. It was for the most a very good interview and it showed how pleasant Beth had been treated and that she was at least moderately hopeful.

Greta on the other hand was not that gracious, she was very impatient and showed little realism in her statements at the end. Greta should know how the Arubans work and she should know by know how the dutch legal system works. Even if the Aruban had done their end of the deal immediatly (AND I DON'T BELIEVE THAT FOR A SECOND) then it would still have taken some time to get the team on the island. The dutch cops did have a few thousand kilometers to travel before they got to the island and may or may not have been readily available to leave. Planning a cold case team does not happen overnight if you ask me.

And on top of that, dutch law-enforcement wouldn't notify the press when it departed for Aruba, they wouldn't plan press-conferences or have Aruban talking heads spew useless and propagandistic information. Dutch police-officers usually only go public if they have something to report or if they need help from the public. So please Greta, a little patience. It is not like the Netherlands hasn't offered help but if the Arubans are too dumb or stubborn to accept it than we have no legal recourse to force them.


Last but not least (or so I hope) a new video for Natalee

I think it important, if not more important than ever to stand united in our cause and to not let hatred and discourse divide the friends and supporters in 2 camps who battle each other instead of fighting for the truth.

October 21st 2006, for Natalee and her family

On October 21st 1986 Natalee Holloway was born.

On May 30th 2005 she disappeared without a trace while on a school trip on Aruba.

It is now the second birthday that she and her family are not united.

And that should have never happened. Slowly but surely the media attention
for Natalee seems to disappear and that is not OK in my book. You know the saying, out of sight is out of mind. We must strive to never let that happen to Natalee. So let's agree to something right here and right now(call it a pledge/promise/plan I don't care):

We promise to keep her name in the public realm, be it in the media, on the internet or in our personal lives.

We promise that we will not let the Aruban government forget about Natalee or forget their duty to solve her disappearance.

We promise that we will keep a united front in support of her parents (all four of them) because they need our continued support.

We promise to fight for Natalee and her family so that she does not end up as just another statistic.

We promise that we will forever remember Natalee and the wonderful person she is.

And we must promise to support the effort to find her because Natalee has to be found, her family deserves to know where she is and what happened on Aruba that fateful night.


That is what we must promise ourselves and Natalee's loved ones to do.

YES, I AM DAMNED PROUD OF MY COUNTRY

I am proud of our armed forces for they are doing our country proud where-ever they serve.

Whether it is in the hills of Afghanistan where our Special Forces look for Osama and his Al-Qaida buddies right now:


Or Uruzgan where the dutch are fighting the Taliban right here and now (and bring peace and stability to Uruzgan):




Or when they were helping out our friends from the United States after Katrina hit:




And when my brother in law and his fellow soldiers served in Iraq. And on the numerous other military missions my country has provided troops for:

Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, Lebanon, Congo, Korean war, Liberia, Burundi, and many many more missions (about 50 in total).


Very proud of my country and it's achievements

And there is much more that I am proud of:

- being the 16th biggest economy in the world for example (wikipedia list of countries by GDP) when we are only the 58th largest country in the world by population.

- the 8th largest exporter in the world (Nationmaster list exports) when being only the 58th largest country in the world by population.

- we are one of the most generous economic aid donors in the world

- the third largest direct investor in the USA

- our culture

- our political system

- our legal system and the fact that we are one of the legal/law centers of the world

- our struggle against the water (Delta Works)

- our royal family (Wikipedia article on dutch royal family)

- our sporting tradition in many sports

and last but not least our wonderful dutch population. And yes, the dutch population is not always terribly proud of the Netherlands. Countries sometimes do things that it's population ought to not be very proud of. And sometimes populations are not happy with the direction their country is going and at that moment they are not proud of their country either.

In my opinion, people should stop mistaking pride with patriotism and love for ones country. I love my country but like any other dutch person sometimes I am not very proud of my country actions and I criticise if harshly whenever it deserves to be criticized harshly and honestly.

It is time for another hate site to be exposed (for all those who have missed the warnings I posted previously about this site, I am going to repeat the exposure). It is of Judicial-inc that I am speaking because they are an evil and downright disgusting hate site. For the love of all that is good, even the Refugees had no problem recognising judicial-inc for what it is (just a joke here refugees-readers, meant in jest only) and have put out the word that this site is sick. But for those who didn't have the Refugees powers of observation ;-)

And if those remarks didn't make you somewhat suspicious, one could always click on the links provided in the story and more evidence just pops out at us to indicate that IT IS A HATE SITE!!! So, here I am on my soap-box again because I cannot believe that there are people sick enough to use Natalee's disappearance in order to promote their own sick and twisted ideology of anti-semetism.

So bloggers out there on all pro-Natalee site, let us make sure that this hate site never gets mentioned ever again with regard to Natalee Holloway.

A person that is that beautiful, kind and wonderful must never be linked to a subject that is so dark and disgusting as anti-semetism is.

And the people are misusing her tragic story on this hate site, in my honest opinion deserve to be sued for crimes against Natalee's honor and virtue. But because that most likely will not happen, it is up to us to protect Natalee's memory by banishing this hate-site from our memories and never speak of it again.

Questions and answers about the Kalpoes new court case

that is, if we believe Freedom of Blog when they report that the 2 Kalpoe brothers will be asking the judge to remove them as suspects.

A few members of BFN have been debating this question and I thought I would have a peruse through the legal books of the Netherlands in an attempt to find the answers (where possible) to a few questions that were asked and a few that I can think of myself.

Question 1. If they are no longer suspects, can they what they know?

answer: They may no longer be (active) suspects but that does not mean they cannot be prosecuted. If they had knowledge of criminal acts or if they actually participated in criminal acts then they still can be prosecuted for them.


Question 2. The suspects lied, they obstructed the investigation, how can they possibly be cleared?

answer: They may have lied, but even lies that they made as witnesses are seen as statements made by the suspects because they later became suspects. And as we know, lying to the police as a suspect is not illegal. Now lying under oath would have been a crime, even when one is a suspect. But I am pretty sure they have never been questioned under oath and thus perjury charges are impossible.

And as any obstruction is concerned, it would have been the result of statements that they made as suspects, and to me it is unclear whether or not they can be prosecuted for that (my legal knowledge is not that specific). But then again, the punishment for that is only a few months in jail and should not radically change their chances of being cleared from being a suspect in Natalee's disappearance.


Question 3. The suspects lied, they got 2 innocent men arrested. Isn't that a crime?

answer: falsely accusing someone and landing them in jail is a crime in the Netherlands that does carry prison sentence for the perpetrators. But for that to be possible in this case would only be possible if Deepak and Satish accused the 2 security guards of having comitted a crime. Something that they did not do. They only said a man, a black man to be specific, with a walkie talkie approached Natalee and talked to her. That the police later arrested 2 security guards may have been the result of Deepak and Satish mentioning that they had seen a security guard talking to Natalee but nothing else.

The police did the rest completely on their own. Even though they did/should have known that the videotape showed no Natalee and no security guard. For this mentioning of the security guard the Kalpoes cannot be prosecuted because they did not accuse this person of doing something illegal.


Question 4. How will this request for removal as suspect work?

answer: The lawyer for the Kalpoes will petition the court to remove his clients as suspects in the case (using article 36 WvSv). The judge will do a few things before he makes his ruling. The judge has to inform himself/herself about how far the DA is with regard to prosecuting the suspect(s). If the DA can reasonably prove in court that prosecution of this case is still on the table with regard to these 2 suspects, then a judge can put the request by the laywers of the suspect(s) "on hold" for a reasonable amount of time (not talking 5 years or several decades here but as long as he deems fit).

This would mean that the request for being removed as a suspect will be taken at a later date when the judge becomes convinced that prosecution is not going to take place.


Question 5. What will most likely happen in this case, with the Kalpoes?

answer: That is a tricky one. Although the Kalpoes initially lied to the police (making them viable suspects) in the beginning of this case, within the first 2 weeks of the investigation, when they were requestioned, they did tell what likely could be the truth. They were so effective in their testimonies that they were released months before Joran was released.

So, one might contend that the statements they had given could not be broken by the police and that with no forensic evidence of a crime, or any testimonial evidence implicating them of any crime, they have a good chance of being stricken off as suspects in this case.

The judge might decide to "hold" the case over if the DA has evidence that suggest a prosecution of the 2 is in the works but so far we have seen little or no evidence of that.


Question 6. Will they be able to sue for damages because they were held for a lot longer than Paul van der Sloot? And if they do, do they stand to make a substantial amount of money?

answer: That is highly likely. But, unlike Paul van der Sloot (of which three courts found that there were no legal grounds under which the police could have arrested him), the Kalpoes have a big problem. They lied to the police, hindering the investigation by their lies and they continued to lie when they were arrested as suspects.

That means that they bear a great responsibility for their detention themselves. Also the loss of their image/reputation is less than that of Paul van der Sloot and again, they damaged their image/reputation by having lied and that cannot be blamed on the police/government.

So all in all, their compensation will most likely be nowhere as high as Paul van der Sloot got.


Question 7. Is there a dutch law that says that someone is culpable the last person to be seen with a someone that goes missing?

answer: To the best of my knowledge (and I did check our criminal law books on this) there is no such law. And that would be logical because one can only be held culpable for something if one is found culpable or guilty. And one cannot be guilty/culpable by default. The state has to prove legally and convincingly that someone is guilty/culpable.

Just like in the US legal system the burdon of proof has to be provided by the State. Any suspect is innocent until proven otherwise and reversal of evidenciary obligations is just not allowed in our system. And it would indeed be crazy to create a legal system where it is up to a suspect/accused to prove his innocence, and we might be a bit daft in the Netherlands, but our legal system does not work like that.


Question 8. What if this law existed and they have subsequently changed it?

answer: Suspects can only be prosecuted using laws that were in our legal code books when the crime was comitted/when he was arrested. Laws that are subsequently removed should have no bearing on the prosecutions chances for conviction because the law was valid when the crime was comitted. But as such a law never existed to begin with, it could have never been removed ;-)

Anyway, as said, one can only be prosecuted for crimes that are in the legal books at the time of the crime. This to prevent politicians from later making illegal something that was not illegal previously. In that case only people arrested after the law became legal can be prosecuted for it. Backdating laws to enable prosecution of crimes is not possible.


Question 9. Does that mean that they have been cleared of all wrong-doing and cannot be prosecuted anymore?

answer: No, to get a misunderstanding out of the way, the Kalpoes will not be cleared. They will be removed as suspects.

And as they aren't cleared they can still be prosecuted at a later date. I have looked long and hard in the legal books of the Netherlands and if I am not mistaken I have found the corresponding law with regard to this. It is also part of the WvSv (legal book of court/legal proceedings) and it is in article 255. This article says that those who were removed as suspects can only be re-adressed as suspects if "new facts" come to the table.

And if I understand correctly, those new facts in the lawbook are discribed as:
statements of witnesses or the suspects, or court documents/case files or police statements, that were discoved/gathered at a later date or had not been investigated previously.

And that would mean (again with my limited legal understanding) that any new evidence found by the dutch police or facts uncovered by the dutch police which were already known but not investigated previously, can still lead to arrests and prosecution of the Kalpoes.

I also read today that the new dutch chief of police will start working on Aruba at the beginning of next month. Hopefully he will be able to give the dutch cold case team all the additional tools it needs to be succesfull. Who knows what the "old guard" might have put up in the way of roadblocks for the dutch investigators if they had still been running the game on Aruba.


QUEEN BEATRIX TO VISIT ARUBA AND THE ANTILLES

hopefully the trip our queen is going to undertake will bring the dutch media in droves to Aruba. With any luck we can get our cause back into the media, at least in the Netherlands.

I don't doubt that the press will at least report on Natalee's disappearance when they are covering the queens visit to Aruba.

Our queen will also be celebrating that in 1776, on the 16th of November, the dutch island of St. Eustasius (part of the dutch kingdom) was the first country to recognise the newly free and sovereign United States of America. She will be doing this by the unveiling of a scale-model of that first American ship to get the official salute from St. Eustasius, the Andrew Doria.


POSSIBLE NEW WRITING CAMPAIGN TO CONSIDER

as some of you might know the Dutch will be to electing a new parliament soon. In the past we have written to members of the government but at this time that would be a waste of time because in weeks they will resign their posts.

Maybe, just maybe it would be smart to begin an e-mail campaign directed at the party leaders of the main political parties in the Netherlands. We can ask them to make sure (even in parliament because they get to ask the government questions) that the dutch police make haste with going over to Aruba to start the first "real professional" investigation into Natalee's disappearance.

We can also ask them to speak on Natalee's behalf (and Natalee's parents) in parliament. For example they can ask in parliament when the police will finally go to Aruba and stuff like that.


In this picture, you can see two of the most powerful men in the Netherlands, the party leaders of the 2 biggest political movements in the Netherlands (PvdA, the social democratic movement and CDA, the christian center movement).

If this new possible campaign for getting Natalee's case out there is going to be succesful these 2 men must certainly be on our e-mailing list.

So if people think this is a good idea I will start to track all the party-leaders e-mail adresses and even write an example letter (one made in both Dutch and English) asking these leaders to step up to the plate for Natalee because in our political system these party-leaders are the most powerful people in the country.

Enough is enough!!!

I have been drudging through the distasteful posts today. Unfortunatly it seems the stupid people out there on the 2 most active "Family Bash-sites" are unable to better their evil ways.

Today I have seen very rotten remarks being made about Dave, Beth, Robin and Jug and I ask myself why? Why can people not write honest and respectful posts in which they state why they disagree with something these 4 people have done.

WHY MUST IT ALMOST ALWAYS BE DONE WITH SO MUCH DISRESPECT TOWARDS BETH, JUG, DAVE AND ROBIN?

Why? I know there are plenty of people who are against the boycott, or who disagree with remarks/accusations made in the media regarding this case and regarding the guilt of the 3 known and most likely suspects, but would it kill you to voice those opinions respectfully? Why must you try to offend people to the core of their being, by making remarks and using pictures that are filled with hatred and disrespect? Don't you have the verbal skills to effectively post your opinion or are you such a poor excuse for a human being that you enjoy inflicting pain?

Why the need to put up disgusting images of Beth Twitty? Too much time on your hands maybe? No discernable morals present? Or do you think your sick sense of humor is funny? When I see such pure hatred towards a human being, who has done you absolutely nothing then I feel sad and disgusted. I feel sad for Beth because she has to witness such deprevation and I feel disgusted because I know there are people out there that think such behaviour is acceptable.

I also know there are people who keep insulting 2 of Natalee's loved ones (Dave and Robin) for no good reasons whatsoever on a blog that supposedly is there to get Justice for Natalee and to spread the word about the voluntary tourism boycot against Aruba.
In my honest opinion they fail on both accounts, they are not getting Justice for Natalee because they are doing everything in the world that Natalee would never do or never approve of, things like:

1. spreading hatred
2. attacking her father and her stepmother
3. not spreading the word of a voluntary travel boycott but attempting to shove it through everyones throat because in the eyes of these boycott-bloggers you are not supporting the family or Natalee if you aren't totally boycott obsessed like they are
4. dividing the supporters of Natalee by their actions

On this blog too words of pure evil are spoken. But here the hatred and disgusting remarks are solely directed at Robin and Dave (yes Dave gets insulted just as much as Robin does because if you insult a man's wife, you insult him too). I can almost daily read the ramblings of a couple of really unintelligent and/or depraved people there. People who have almost certainly never actually spoken or interacted with these 2 lovely people, yet they keep writing the vilest lies and accusations about them and it makes me sick to my stomach and really really angry. I must say that such evilness towards the 2 of the 4 parents of Natalee Holloway is totally unacceptable and I would like to wager a bet that all 4 of Natalee's parents would agree with me on that one.


The future

So what will the future hold? I don't know. I really don't. I would like to believe that people will see the error of their ways and stop posting the insulting and evil rubbish they have been spewing so far. Because for those who have forgotten it, we are here because of Natalee:

We are all here because of Natalee Holloway. And we are supposed to be here for her 4 parents. We are supposed to support Beth, Jug, Dave and Robin because these people have been robbed of one of the most precious things a human being will ever know, the love of their child.

And that loss is compounded by the fact that they don't know where she is and by the fact that who-ever is responsible for the disappearance of their lovely child is still not behind bars where he belongs /they belong.

Look at these pictures and you will see LOVE. Nothing more and nothing less. And it doesn't matter whether we look at pictues of Dave and Natalee, of Beth and Natalee, of Robin and Natalee or of Jug and Natalee, you can see the LOVE in their eyes on these pictures and if you have a modicum of empathy, you can almost feel the love they felt for one another.

These people have been robbed of their future with Natalee, and it is so sad to see that people cannot respect them and Natalee enough to stop the hatred towards these four parents.

Dave, Jug, Beth and Robin loved Natalee and they loved Natalee with all their heart. Natalee loved her 2 step-siblings and her 2 half-sisters dearly every bit as much they loved her back. Natalee's life was about love, not about hatred. So please, for the person that Natalee is/was, stop disrespecting her loved ones.

And a message for those bloggers/posters who have been recently trying to drive a wedge between these 4 parents, you can stop trying because there is no chance in hell that you will ever succeed in doing that. You will never succeed because when it comes to Natalee, Beth/Jug/Dave and Robin are a united front. United in their love for Natalee and united in their goals and actions.

Not much to report today

but I just wanted to say that the cold case team will become a reality if the dutch are allowed to go into Aruba and do what they need to do, but that will be down to Aruba, not the Netherlands.

We don't know if Aruba has done all it was supposed to do to make it possible for the dutch to take over (legally and all that) or that they have handed over all the files pertaining to the case.

Now IF Aruba did all that it was supposed to do (to make it possible for the dutch to take over) then for all we know the dutch cold case team might be reading up on the case or they might already be there. We don't know and if the Aruban press/Aruban government isn't going to make it public then we will only find out whether the dutch police is already on Aruba, is when the arrests/interrogations start happening.

The dutch police does not make public announcements when they are doing an investigation. 9 times out of 10 they will only go public in a case if they need help from the public (for information), if something of major significance happened in a case (like confessions etc.) or when they have solved the case.

In my honest opinion it is best to leave criminals in the dark until it is too late and the criminals not knowing how far the police is or whether they are already being watched is not a bad thing if you ask me and let's just hope that the people guilty of whatever happened to Natalee are starting to get really worried.

Hopefully we will find out whether the dutch police has been cleared to work on Aruba or that they have started arresting people so that Beth, Jug, Dave and Robin can finally find out the truth.

Just now I had a real D'OH moment.

I had just realized that I had unwittingly chosen the exact same layout/colors for my blog that Arubanboycott.blogspot is using. Oopsie, what a mistake to make LOL. So I re-jigged the colors and now we look nothing like "the other site".

My reasons for doing a very short blog on Reality are also obvious because he has said many negative things about one of Natalee's family members on various sites.

I NEVER attempted to "Out" Rammenstein (or whatever names he may go by) because he is simply NOT important and is NO threat to this movement. He is simply a man who likes to hear the sound of his own voice (or read his own words in this case) and is of no importance to me whatsoever. I did have a Dutch citizen from The Netherlands who TEACHES English as a second language translate a couple of the documents that Ramm claims to have translated and this TEACHER found several errors in the translations. Errors that could and did change the relevance of the document. That may have occurred because Ramm is not proficient in his own language or for some nefarious reason unknown to me. I simply don't care about Mr. Rammenstien and yet he protests and protests about what I have written. He is not even a part of what I have written yet he places himself in the center of everything for whatever reasons he may have.

I am guessing that Mr. Rammenstien needs a lot of attention and I feel sorry for him.

Anyone who opposes the boycott opposes the family of Natalee in my opinion and deserves to be exposed. That would include MIP6 and Reality so I spoke about them. No matter who the family member is, my goal is to support them and the boycott movement and if by telling the TRUTH about who opposes it helps, then that is what I must do.

Aruba lied. Aruba let the family and Natalee down and as a result of their actions we have no answers regarding what happened to Natalee Holloway.

The boycott is a tool to make them realize that we are serious about finding the truth and that we won't stop until we do. They have a choice; they can tell what they REALLY know and let the truth come out in its entirety or they can continue to lie and cover-up.

As long as they do the latter we will boycott them and make them pay for their behavior in the only way that is productive. Boycotting Aruba is necessary until the truth is known.


Mr. Rammenstien can yammer all he wants to and lie about things he knows nothing about till the cows come home and it won't stop this movement nor will it stop me. He has sufficiently exposed himself in his own words so it is not necessary for me to belabor the point. He is what he is and all who have read his so-called Bio know the facts.

The boycott is for Natalee and her family and it will go forward. Poor Ramm has NO power to stop it and his words are hollow. I have been sent several copies of his recent blogs and if they hadn't of been so laughable I would have cried out in pity at his lack of accurate information.

Oh, and one more thing Ramm, people drink BEER...NOT BEARS. You really should take an English class before you continue to bill yourself as a translator of any language into English.

Well, I always knew Meri had a few issues with reality but I never knew they were this big LOL LOL LOL.

So here goes:

1. I do love the sound of my own keyboard, but don't you have that problem too?? Furthermore, I don't try to be important to you or anyone else, I stick to trying to be myself and telling the truth as I know/see it.

2. I don't doubt you showed a few translations to that teacher friend of yours, but I have a sneaky suspicion that you showed him translations that were not done by me, but by the good folks over at Scared Monkeys (ask Michelle about that one). And yes, in the translations made by Scared Monkeys, there were serious imperfections in translating that did change the meaning of the document.
My translations on the other hand did not contain any mistakes like that (mabye a few grammatical errors but no translating errors). So either you got it wrong (again) and gave the poor guy the wrong statements (statements that were not translated by me) or you should ask that person to contact me. I give private english lessons to remedial students (even if they teach English as a second language).

3. I might protest at what you write, but it has nothing to do with the boycott or you. It is just that from time to time someone has to speak up and expose your lies, your hatred and you getting facts wrong time and time again, and I have a problem keeping my keyboard silent when I read absolute hog-wash so I just have to speak up.

And I am often quite right to speak up in the face of so much inaccuracy, the above post for example clearly proves that you often blog like a headless chicken because you missed my personality discription by a country mile.

The aruban police-force has lied IMHO, on top of that, they have done a really crappy job on this investigation (can't really say how I feel about their level of "expertise" because that would be riddled with profanity and I should rather try not to go down that road) and their incompetence has been the primary cause that this case is still unsolved and that the parents of Natalee (all 4 of them) are still without the answers that they deserve. How much of this incompetence is down to corruption is a matter for another investigation to determine, I have suspicions and indications pointing to this but that is not the same as being able to prove it so I will err on the side of caution here.

The aruban government (who may not be able to dictate the actions taken in the investigation but is still politically responsible) should feel the consequences of their actions but as I have said before, I think that the wrong people are getting punished/hit by this boycott that don't deserve to be hit by this (the regular folks on Aruba).

It is however the fault of the Aruban government that it has not yet started an investigation into it's own failings. It should have founded/started an independant group of experts to investigate the failings in this case in order to find out who failed Aruba, the Holloway/Twitty families and most importantly, who failed Natalee.

The results of such an investigation would undoubtedly show how incredibly inept, incompetent and downright incredibly stupid this case has been handled since day one. And that should cost both Mr. Oduber and mr. Croes their jobs (along with a good part of the police-officers who have been working on this case).

But even though I may feel differently about this boycott then other people (and I do say that if asked), I fully agree with the fact that each man/woman must decide for him-/her-self whether to join the tourism-boycot of Aruba or not.

How insanely insensitive people can turn a pro-family site into the opposite

We have been seeing the signs for a while now. The wild eyes, the insane remarks. The hatred and the bashing remarks have grown more frequent and consistently more poisonous.

I am talking offcourse about "distasteful-central", better known as "Arubanboycott.blogspot.com". Once it used to be a semi-respected site with a bit of extreme standing but lately it has turned into a site that seems to be turning from pro-family into the direction of an anti-family site. These last few days have proven that conclusively.

Because what other site would attack the stepmother and direct family member of Natalee Holloway? To be honest I can imagine Dave Holloway's blood will be boiling when he reads what the nutjobs (and sorry, I can think of no better word) at a site purporting to be there for the family have been up to.

Like a pack of rabid animals they have been attacking Robin for no good reason whatsoever. Let us be honest, these people have lost all sense of decency. They profess to being there for Natalee, blessing Natalee or writing Justice For Natalee but how can you state that when you attack one/two of her loved ones (Robin and Dave)?

If anyone IMHO, is not working for Justice For Natalee then it is them. I didn't know Natalee but I have read and heard a lot about her and I have come to the conclusion that she was wonderful young woman that had an endearing personality and that she was a vibrant, intelligent, friendly and loving person who was very close to her family and friends, whom she loved dearly.

And I find it sad, that in the name of such a wonderful young woman such hatred is being put into the world by a few shameless individuals who seem to think they are morally superior to all but who are anything but.

But as we all know, Robin isn't the only one they have been attacking. Your truely here has also been the target of the Arubanboycott mob of madmen/women. And to be honest, I could care less about those un-informed hate-posters. They can attack me all they want but it only shows their true colours, it says little or nothing about me. I know what I am like and my loved ones know what I am like. And those hateful posters over there obviously don't, or else they wouldn't be talking out of their backsides with all these untrue comments about me.


And I am not going to waste my time by naming and shaming the hate-mongers that have been going after one of Natalee's loved ones, someone else can do that. That person can prefably also put them in the the only clothing-item suitable for these people, the straight jacket. Because it is obvious for everyone that they have all lost their minds and need a one way trip to an insane-asylum for the emotionally and morally challenged individuals.

Hello!!! How does bashing Robin Holloway support Natalee/Natalee's family?

It seems there was supposed to be a meeting of supporters of Natalee Holloway and for some reason Meri (who was invited) wasn't happy with the list of invited persons. Not only did she not agree with the list but for some reason she feared she might "act out in anger and frustration at to what she sees as a very sad situation".

I would think that working as a united front in the quest to find Natalee and get the justice she and her family so desperatly needs should be a paramount concern to all involved but that is not in the cards when I read that story. Meri feels that there will be people with lesser motives at the meeting and she feels that it would be wiser for her not to go because of that. I don't know why she would question who Beth/the family invited these individuals, but it seems she does and that is her good right as a free person. She posted all of this on Michelle's weblog over at Arubanboycott.

There is where the problems started. Now it may not have been a secret meeting (and why would it be, it is a very normal thing to do) but I could imagine the family also hadn't planned on making it public via the internet. Especially in the way it was done now. So it seems that Robin (according to a post made by Michelle) asked for it to be removed. I think she did this on behalf of her husband Dave (and possibly even Beth) and Michelle with a heavy heart (because it was a post of her dear friend Meri) did as Robin asked and removed the post..

This lead to a breaking off in the friendship of Meri and Michelle. Meri could not accept the actions that Michelle had taken in complying with a request made by Natalee's family (and YES, ROBIN IS NATALEE'S FAMILY TOOO!!!!). Michelle made a post explaining her actions in removing the post and Robin's request was made public for reasons that allude me completely. There was no need IMHO to mention that it was Robin that made the request in what I think was a request on behalf of the family (at least her and Dave) to remove the post.

Michelle later reversed her decision to remove the post at the center of the controversy and re-posted it but that is a whole different story as to whether that is right or wrong, as said it is her blog and her choice. Also Michelle runs a pretty unmoderated blog when it comes to responses (I think based on the responses that I do see on her blog). So even though I feel she should have never allowed these responses bashing Robin Holloway, this post on my blog is not about Michelle or her choice runnig a boycott site or even how she runs it because I think I made my feelings about that known before.

No this post is to speak up about a horrid attacks that people who visit her site have instigated against Robin Holloway, Natalee's stepmother and wife to Dave Holloway.

Suddenly I see cowards (yes cowards because a. the are attacking a direct family member of Natalee Holloway and b. because most of them are posting it anonymously) writing such horrid stuff like:

Beth needs to take complete control and charge of Natalee's case. Dave needs to get rid of his Bamalady. She is an embarassment to him and this case.

I agree, however, I need to add to this. Dave doesn't only NEED to get rid of his Bamalady, he NEED's to set his wife straight as to who the Mother of Natalee is. Robin too has become an embarrassment to this case. She should back off and let Beth handle this case. Robin has made a fool out of herself @ BFN along with many others there. Debbie & Robin want to be famous. They have let the world know how foolish one can become. Bless yall's little southern hearts. Debbie, your getting Robin to come to BFN has backfired on you and Robin. You two will see in time what damage you have done, in writing.

Beth Holloway was on Dutch TV this week and it was a beautiful show and very respectful to Beth and the case of her daughter.

She even pointed to Scaredmonkeys to go and read the police-statements that were translated for all to read (something one can do also at Blogsfornatalee ofcourse).

In the forum on Jensen they have also been discussing the case but there were a few posters that pointed to a site that we all know (and some of us loath and others love) very well, Michelle's little attack site "Arubanboycott.blogspot". You know the one site that proclaims they are "endorsed by Beth".

Well if dutch people visit there (and some already have and that did not set well with them) they can read things like:

And yes, I know they write above their site that not "all commentaries are necessarily the opinion of the Holloway and Twitty family" but most dutch who read that will not be impressed by that distinction from a site that is boasting of being the only boycott site endorsed by Beth Twitty.

Hate helps no-one, and if you ask me Natalee was a person who was the exact opposite of the hatred now being vented by these hate-filled fools in her and her mother's name.
